Power

Essar was amongst the first few Indian private players to set up an Independent Power Plant and to obtain a power transmission license in India. This laid strong foundations of multi-fuel power plants execution capabilities, building a portfolio of gas-based, coal-based, oil-fired as well as hydroelectric power projects for Essar Projects, which has delivered over 3900 MW of power generation capacity till date across multi-fuel power generation plants. Our portfolio includes gas-based, coal-based, oil-fired as well as hydroelectric power projects.
