Jatinder Mehra

Jatinder Mehra is a chemical engineer from BITS Ranchi and has completed an Advance Management Programme at Oxford University. During 56 years of his career, he has worked with several reputed public and private sector steel companies including Steel Authority India Limited (‘SAIL’) and Rashtriya Ispat Nigam Limited (‘RINL’) as Chairman and Managing Director. He has experience in managing various functions such as marketing, operations, technical services and corporate relations. In his current role as director as the Essar Group, he supports the promoter directors in business strategy, group investments, corporate relations and corporate governance.
